Whitehall CSD Parent Café Returns October 28

Whitehall Central School District invites parents and guardians to the next Parent Café on Wednesday, October 28, at 6:30 p.m. in the Jr.-Sr. High School Library.

Parent Café provides an opportunity for parents and guardians to connect, share insights, ask questions and learn about resources to support their children's academic, personal and social-emotional development.

October's theme, “Trick or Tech: Scary Trends in Social Media,” will focus on the challenges of balancing technology, growing up and parenting in today's digital world. Participants can share experiences, discuss concerns and connect with other families navigating similar challenges.

Monthly Parent Café sessions focus on topics related to academic, career and social-emotional development, while also providing a welcoming space for parents and guardians to exchange ideas and build connections.

Looking ahead, November's theme will be “Gratitude and Attitude: Navigating Adolescent Mindset and Choices.” The session will explore strategies and supports parents and guardians can use to help their students and themselves. A prize giveaway is also planned for one lucky attendee.

Refreshments will be provided at the October session. Parents and guardians are encouraged to RSVP through the ParentSquare post to help the district plan for refreshments.

We hope to see you there, Railroaders!
