The Whitehall Central School District will conduct its annual Budget Vote and Board of Education Election on Tuesday, May 19, 2026. Polls will be open from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the LGI at the Whitehall Jr.-Sr. High School.

Residents of the district will have the opportunity to vote on several important items, including the proposed 2026–2027 school budget totaling $22,558,296. Voters will also decide on two additional propositions: the first proposition authorizes the purchase of one 65-passenger school bus ($172,482) and one 41-passenger school bus ($181,455); the second proposition seeks authorization for the District to use General Fund Balance to purchase approximately 7.32± acres of property located at 270 Broadway, Whitehall, NY, at a cost of $250,000.

In addition, voters will elect four (4) members to the Board of Education. The elected members will serve three-year terms beginning July 1, 2026, and ending June 30, 2029.
