Whitehall Central School District is welcoming students and families back for the start of 2026 with important information regarding an altered schedule for select Midterm and Regents exams, which will take place Tuesday, January 20 through Friday, January 23.

During this exam period, regular classes in the Jr-Sr. High School will not be held. Students who are scheduled to take a Midterm or Regents exam are only required to report to school for their designated exam time, allowing for a focused testing environment and minimizing disruption to the school day.

The Midterm and Regents exam schedule includes assessments across multiple subject areas and grade levels, with both morning and afternoon testing sessions. Families are encouraged to review the full exam schedule carefully to confirm dates, times, and locations.

To support student transportation needs during the adjusted schedule, the district will provide an additional bus run following morning exams, as well as transportation for students reporting to afternoon exams.

If families are unsure which exam or exams their student is required to take, they are encouraged to contact the student’s guidance counselor or speak directly with the course teacher for additional clarification.
