Students in Mr. Joe Graney’s 8th grade technology class designed, built, and raced CO2 cars. First, they studied how aerodynamics would affect the speed of their car. They then used their critical thinking skills to help them determine the best possible car shape and size, while staying within the specifications assigned by Mr. Graney. Then it was off to the Whitehall 500 to see who built the fastest vehicle.

The order of finish was as follows:

1st place, Logan Vandeburgh
2nd place, Seth Arquette
3rd place, Everett Matteson
4th place Nick Gordon
